From Volunteer to Advocate

I started volunteering at Sculpting Choices events to fulfill community service hours. What I found changed my career path entirely. Seeing the impact that trained professionals make in the lives of children with autism inspired me to pursue my RBT certification. Now I work here full-time, and every day I'm reminded why this work matters. Volunteering gave me purpose.

A Mother's Gratitude

When I didn't know where to turn, Sculpting Choices was there. The therapy assistance program helped us afford the services my son needed, and the parent education classes taught me how to support him at home. The community here is like a second family. I went from feeling completely alone to having a network of people who truly understand. Thank you will never be enough.

Ethan's Journey to Finding His Voice

Ethan's Journey to Finding His Voice

When Ethan was first diagnosed with autism at age 3, his parents were told he might never speak. Through early intervention and dedicated ABA therapy support from Sculpting Choices, Ethan began using augmentative communication at age 4. By age 6, he spoke his first words. Today, at 9, Ethan is a chatterbox who loves telling jokes and reading stories to his younger sister. His family credits the Foundation's early intervention program and parent education workshops for giving them the tools they needed.
