Ownership of the SCAIP\u2122 Platform
The Foundation owns the brand, code, content, and methods that power this platform.
Trademarks
- "Sculpting Choices Autism Foundation," the SCAIP™ mark, the Sculpting Choices logo, and related brand elements are trademarks of Sculpting Choices Autism Foundation, Inc.
- The ™ symbol denotes an unregistered (common-law) trademark claim; the ® symbol is reserved for marks formally registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- No one may use these names, logos, or marks without prior written permission from the Foundation.
- Unauthorized commercial use, imitation, or misleading references that suggest affiliation with the Foundation are prohibited.
Copyright & Content Ownership
- All source code, page designs, written content, resource guides, database structures, and visual assets on this platform are protected by U.S. and international copyright law.
- Copyright is automatic upon creation; registration with the U.S. Copyright Office provides additional enforcement rights including statutory damages and attorney’s fees.
- You may view and use content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute platform content without permission.
- User-submitted content (profiles, messages, submissions) remains owned by the submitter, but you grant the Foundation a license to use it solely to operate the platform.
Trade Secrets & Proprietary Methods
- The SCAIP™ verification methodology, provider review workflows, data-quality processes, and internal business logic are trade secrets of the Foundation.
- Staff, contractors, and volunteers are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations to maintain this protection.
- Reverse engineering, decompilation, or automated extraction of platform logic and data structures is strictly prohibited.
Patent Notice
- Certain technical processes powering the SCAIP™ platform may be subject to patents or patent applications.
- Software patents are highly specific; general business methods and ideas presented on this site are not licensed for reuse.

Your Rights & Responsibilities

Privacy & Data

- Protected Health Information (PHI) is not processed until formal HIPAA certification and Business Associate Agreements are in place.
